The power of cooperation

At shiftX, every member has the same rights and obligations, regardless of their economic size and strength. After all, we can only achieve our goals together and as equal partners. It is this cooperative idea that has united us as an association since we were founded in 2016. It gives us strength and power.

shiftX is open to any trading company that would like to bring itself and its goods into our cooperative. The only requirement: the contractually secured obligation to contribute a previously agreed transport volume to our network in return for a fixed management fee per 20-foot container (TEU). The fee is staggered and linked to the respective contract term.

Over 50 network partners ensure that our members’ shipments arrive at their global destinations on time, reliably and undamaged. Long-term cooperation agreements and joint ventures with logistics service providers safeguard the high-quality services and supplement them with a range of other services tailored to requirements. As the direct service provider, shiftX is responsible for the services provided by its partners.

The BCO (Business Cago Owner) Conference, which has been organized by shiftX since 2017, is a permanent fixture in the international logistics event calendar. Over 100 top managers and executives come together here to discuss current developments and trends in the industry. High-caliber experts share their knowledge about the opportunities, risks and challenges of the global transport markets at the BCO Conference. In 2024, the event took place in the Elbe metropolis of Hamburg.
